About Amatzia: Amatzia was born and raised on Kibbutz Ein Hashofet. His parents were among the pioneers who founded the kibbutz. In the Israeli army he served in an elite commando unit. From 1971 to 1974 he was the Israeli community shaliach in St.Louis, Mo. On his return he served as the general secretary of the kibbutz. After several years of working in agriculture, he studied Organizational Development and Personal Management. Amatzia is a graduate of the Tour Guide Course sponsored by the Haifa University and the Ministry of Tourism.
